Fixed vs Floating

What's the difference?

Fixed Dock

  • A fixed dock generally will receive much less wear and tear over the years, as the dock is fixed on pilons driven deep into the lake bed
  • If there is heavy boat traffic, this may be a better option

Floating Dock

  • Floating docks are going to be the more affordable option for lakefront property owners.
  • A floating dock is a better choice if the water level fluctuates often
  • Moves with the boat
